Faith Church is thrilled to bring you our Live to Give podcast, now in its third season! Each season has focused on hope and entertainment, with the goal of uplifting listeners through encouraging and thoughtful discussions. In a world that has experienced much darkness, hope has become a vital message for us all.

"He who carries the torch of hope kindles enthusiasm and wins acclaim...only after long periods of misery and darkness is he able to speak of the dawn and proclaim a message of hope."
(Heschel, 1955, p. 225)

The prophets in the Bible faced challenging times but were given a powerful message of hope. Hope, as Heschel describes, comes after long periods of hardship. It’s vital to our well-being and deeply embedded in the story of faith.

The Heart of Hope in Christian Faith

The theologian Milgliore writes that “Christian’s hope is hope in a fulfillment of life beyond all that we deserve or can even imagine—hope in the joyful communion of the triune God” (1991, p. 353). In the relationship of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we find the ultimate example of hope—one we seek to share with you through each episode.
