Missions
At Faith Church, we believe in living generously and serving faithfully. Through our “Live to Give” initiative, we’re committed to sharing Jesus’s love both locally and globally—partnering with organizations to support those in need and bring hope to communities. Whether it’s helping families in our own city or serving communities around the world, we’re here to make a difference together.

We partner with the Victory Center to break the cycle of poverty through education and support for children in need. Led by Sue Leak and Erika Fitzgerald, the Victory Center’s mission is to provide food, clothing, shelter, medical care, and spiritual guidance, all while sharing God’s love.
Through after-school programs—including English classes, homework help, music, sports, crafts, and Bible clubs—children receive the resources they need to grow and thrive, one child at a time.
Sierra Leone
Faith Church is honored to support transformative work in Sierra Leone through partnerships that address critical needs in healthcare, education, and spiritual support. Each of our partners plays a vital role in sharing God’s love with vulnerable communities. Explore each ministry below to learn more.

Enable the Children (ETC) provides life-changing care and support for children with disabilities in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Due to limited healthcare and cultural misunderstandings about disabilities, these children face significant challenges. ETC’s team of local and expatriate staff offers physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and support services, helping over 1,000 children live healthier, fuller lives. This program shows God’s love in a practical way to some of Sierra Leone’s most vulnerable.

Geoff and Carrie Jo are part of the Kamakwie Action Team, which supports the Kamakwie Wesleyan Hospital and other local needs. Their efforts include:
Cervical Cancer Program: Carrie Jo’s “See and Treat” cervical cancer program provides essential healthcare to women and has gained national interest for its effectiveness.
Widows Project: Geoff and local leader Bakkar provide widows with training, counseling, and economic support, helping them gain independence and stability.
Faith Church supports Geoff and Carrie Jo through Global Partners - The Wesleyan Church, making a direct impact on health and wellness for individuals and families in Sierra Leone.

Since 2017, Faith Church has hosted an annual retreat for missionaries and Christian workers, offering them a time of rest, encouragement, and spiritual renewal. Highlights of the retreat include:
Encouragement: Time set aside for worship and teaching to renew the spirits of those in ministry.
Connection: Opportunities to connect deeply with others who understand their experiences.
Spiritual Health: Quiet time for attendees to hear from God and find renewed peace and purpose in their work.
In 2023, we launched a Youth Retreat specifically for the children of missionary families. Sixteen young people joined us that first year, and in 2024, eighteen returned for a time devoted to building faith and friendships. The Youth Retreat offers these young people a chance to grow spiritually in a supportive community of peers.
Help a child with special needs in Sierra Leone by providing resources for their care, education, and growth.
